SUPPORTING THE CONGRESS
The SOE 2023 Congress provides an educational environment dedicated to the exchange of scientific research, training and learning. Exhibition build up will take place on Wednesday, 14 June in preparation for the Exhibition open days, Thursday, 15 June to Saturday, 17 June 2023.
CONGRESS VENUE AND AUDIENCE PROFILE
The SOE 2023 Congress will take place at the Prague Congress Centre (PCC) from 15 – 17 June 2023. The PCC has excellent facilities with plenty of space for both scientific meetings and a large commercial exhibition. The exhibition area will draw in all congress delegates and will include exhibits, Electronic Posters and catering. Main session halls are located off the exhibition area, allowing exhibitors to enjoy maximum attendance on their stands.
The Congress will have an exciting 3 day programme and an extensive trade exhibition. The Congress historically draws over 2500 of the world’s leading researchers and providers of services, equipment, products and aids for people within the diverse spheres of ophthalmology and related sectors. These participants are not only from Europe but also from the USA and the Middle East and at SOE 2019 in Nice delegates came from 94 different countries. The activities and events associated with the SOE 2021 Congress offer a unique opportunity for companies to reach this highly influential international audience through exhibition and sponsorship participation.
SCIENTIFIC PROGRAMME
The scientific programme arrangements are well under way and will include an outstanding array of European and overseas invited speakers. Importantly, the scientific programme will span the latest developments and best practice in ophthalmology. The Programme will cover the full curriculum of Ophthalmology, with ample choice for participants from any background and with all interests. As in previous SOE Congresses there will be a large number of symposia and courses organised by all the major European Subspecialty Societies and Supranational Organisations. SOE will be the main comprehensive Ophthalmology Meeting in Europe in 2023.
